With over 9 years’ experience working in care, Lauren brings a wealth of experience to Maplebrook.

Having started her career in home care, Lauren then progressed to work at a nursing home. At Maplebrook, Lauren focusses on mental health and challenging behaviour, and looks forward to working with a variety of health needs and developing her professional skills further.

Lauren says, “It’s never a day’s work if you love your job, which I do.”

A day at Maplebrook is very active and hands on for Lauren, assisting both staff and residents in any way she can. Promoting a positive environment for both residents and staff is of great importance to Lauren.

The Home Manager says, “our Healthcare Assistants are an integral part of our care team.  They spend time really getting to know the people they look after and support.  Lauren has such a caring nature and every single day shows true professionalism, compassion and understanding, she treats everyone who lives here and her colleagues with respect and we’re blessed to have her as part of our team.”

Outside of work, Lauren is a keen football fan and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
