With 14 years of experience working within the care sector, Jaz brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Maplebrook Care Home. Starting as Care Assistant before progressing on to work as a Senior Nursing Assistant, Jaz then decided to change roles to support the administration side of care homes. Jaz says, “I am excited to be part of the person-centred care model that Maplebrook is promoting”.

Jaz is highly qualified, having completed not only NVQ Levels 2, 3 and 4 in Health & Social Care but also a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care and Children & Young People’s Services (Adult Management). Maplebrook Care Home’s Manager Claire says, “Being the first person that families see when they enter the doors of Maplebrook, it was vital to find the right person for the role of Receptionist & Administrator, and I believe the Jaz is a perfect representation of our values.  We are building a team of people who all share the same ethos and approach to care.”

Professional development is important to Jaz “I am always looking for ways to better myself and my career and always striving for better things. I am always open to educating myself and widening my skill set in any way possible.”

Mum to two girls, Jaz loves to spend her free time with them when not at work to help them build a foundation for their adult life.
