At Maplebrook Care Home, we provide specialist care for adults living with complex and enduring mental health conditions in gender specific communities. This includes support for people with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder and other diagnoses that may affect daily life, behaviour and emotional wellbeing. Our dedicated mental health floor, Hornbeam, is designed for adults aged 18 to 65 and offers a structured, therapeutic environment where residents can feel safe and supported in a way that’s tailored to their needs.
We understand that every person’s journey with mental health is different. That’s why our team works closely with residents, families and professionals to build trusted relationships and clear, individual care plans. These include therapeutic approaches, daily routines, and realistic goals – whether that’s maintaining stability, developing independence, or working towards a supported return to the community. Our approach combines clinical expertise with kindness, patience, and genuine understanding.
