Multi-Function Hub

The Multi-Function Hub at Maplebrook Care Home is a vibrant, flexible space designed to bring people together. Whether it’s for social activities, quiet reflection, family visits or small group sessions, the hub is a space where connection, creativity and support come to life, right at the heart of the home.

A Space That Adapts to Residents’ Needs

Our Multi-Function Hub has been created with flexibility in mind. It’s used daily for a wide range of purposes, from arts and crafts groups and reminiscence sessions to therapy appointments and visiting professionals. The space can be rearranged easily depending on the activity, providing a calm, welcoming setting that’s inclusive for all residents, including those with mobility or sensory needs. It’s also a popular choice for more focused one-to-one sessions and meetings with family, care teams or external healthcare providers.

Supporting Community, Connection and Comfort

Whether it’s a coffee morning, a quiet chat with a loved one, or a wellbeing workshop, the hub plays a key role in helping residents stay engaged and connected. It provides a change of scene without the need to leave the home and supports meaningful interaction in a more informal setting. Our Activities Team makes regular use of the space to host themed days, group games and social events – helping to maintain a lively and inclusive atmosphere where everyone is encouraged to take part in a way that suits them.
